We work for feminist politics in Finland – and every new member makes our voice stronger.

Svenska Kvinnoförbundet is the women’s organisation of the Swedish People’s Party of Finland (SFP) and a liberal and feminist voice in Finnish politics. We advocate for a society where women and girls have equal opportunities to shape their lives and the world around them.

Our work focuses on issues such as equal pay, accessible maternity care, equal parental leave and the prevention of violence against women. We want women to take part in decision-making at every level, and that work is best done together.

You do not need to be a member of the party to join Svenska Kvinnoförbundet. Membership is open to anyone residing in Finland. As a member you receive our newsletters and invitations to seminars and events, and you have the opportunity to get involved in your local association or to stand as a candidate in elections. All members belong to a local association and the annual membership fee is 10–15 euros. Join us!
