Newsletter

Svenska Kvinnoförbundet sends newsletters and invitations to events and activities to its members and other subscribers via the cloud service Mailchimp. We only request the information necessary to send the newsletters. From a GDPR perspective, Mailchimp acts as a data processor. Read Mailchimp's data protection policy. Recipients can update or delete their data themselves via links in the newsletters, or contact Svenska Kvinnoförbundet at info@kvinnoforbundet.fi.

Data protection notice for events

EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679), Articles 12, 13 and 14. This data protection notice applies to events organised by Svenska Kvinnoförbundet. The local branches decide for themselves how they use data from events.

3. Purpose of processing personal data

The personal data is used to make the practical arrangements for events organised by Svenska Kvinnoförbundet and to process the related feedback. The register contains the personal data of those who have registered for, participated in and given feedback on events organised by Svenska Kvinnoförbundet.

The processing of the data is based on the consent of the data subject.

4. Content of personal data in the register

Name, email address, address, telephone number, organisation, special diet, accessibility requirements for the event. Feedback on the events can be given anonymously.

5. Source of personal data

Those who have registered for, participated in and provided feedback on an event.

6. Recipients of personal data

Employees of Svenska Kvinnoförbundet who have access to the Lyyti programme and the event itself have access to the data in the register. If necessary, access to the data in the register can be restricted.

Names and organisations can be transferred to other participants in the event with the permission of the person concerned. Personal data may be disclosed to organisations or other possible organisers responsible for the event's premises, catering or transport.

Otherwise, personal data is not disclosed to parties outside Svenska Kvinnoförbundet.

The programme supplier Lyyti Oy and its subcontractors providing the electronic form process data only at the request of the controller.

7. Transfer of data to third countries and international organisations

The data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA or to international organisations. However, in the case of a meeting organised by an international organisation or a visit to third countries, it is possible. In such cases, the data subject's consent to the transfer of personal data is sought and the data subject is informed of the risks related to possible shortcomings in the level of data protection.

8. Retention period of personal data

The data is retained for two years after the event has been organised. If there is a need to retain the data for a longer period, consent is requested in connection with a specific registration or application.

9. Rights of the data subject

The data subject can cancel their registration at any time via the confirmation received by email. The data subject may also withdraw their consent to the processing of their data by sending a free-form message to info@kvinnoforbundet.fi or by post to Svenska Kvinnoförbundet, PO Box 430, 00101 Helsinki, Finland.

The data subject has the right to:

  • check what personal data there is about them in the register
  • have incorrect personal data rectified
  • have their data removed from the register
  • restrict the processing of the data
  • transfer data from one system to another.

Requests should be sent by e-mail to info@kvinnoforbundet.fi or by regular mail to Svenska Kvinnoförbundet, PO Box 430, 00101 Helsinki, Finland. With the reference "Request for verification of data in the event register". Verification of data is free of charge once a year.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the contact person in matters concerning the register.

10. Profiling

No profiling is carried out and no other automated decisions are made using the register.
